Joining the Bovina Community in 2026

Built within the shell of the historic Hilson's Hardware Store, originally constructed in 1867, the thoughtfully restored community space will be host to a variety of Livestock Foundation community programming.

Art Gallery

Bovina and its surrounding communities are home to a large number of dedicated and dynamic fine artists. In the main room of the first floor, we will host art exhibitions showcasing local artists.

Workspace

During the week we will open our doors as a peaceful, professional, and productive coworking space. Livestock Foundation will provide complimentary wifi and a tranquil environment for local workers and entrepreneurs to build and grow their businesses.

Local Support

In commitment to our mission of community building and our dedication to collaborating with local organizations, we invite fellow nonprofits to utilize our space for fundraising, organizing, and community outreach endeavors with support from the Livestock Foundation team. The main space will be equipped with a full kitchen that can be utilized for event catering.

Community Room

Located on the second floor, the Community Room will offer a dedicated space for hosting events, film screenings, educational workshops, and other community-oriented activities. It will also be available to reserve by local community members for group meetings and get togethers.

Historic Collection

Next door to the Community Room, the Historic Collection will house an array of artifacts documenting Delaware County’s history, including local businesses that were anchors of the town of Bovina like the building’s own Hilson’s Hardware Store and the nearby historic Creamery.

LivestockLive Radio

Our radio station will document and share Delaware County’s unique gifts of nature, history, and community by featuring interviews with local luminaries and coverage of local activities, businesses, and events via local radio broadcasting. Up the hall from our Community Room, the station will include a sound studio for radio broadcast via 1/10-watt radio signal, live streamed audio and video, and podcast recording.
