Livestock Living Room Series presents Daria Grace and the Pre-War Ponies!
Daria has been playing music in NYC for quite a while now. She started out as a bass player and has toured and recorded with avant-rockers God Is My Co-Pilot and pop noir sextet Melomane, among many others. She was also a founding member of Hawaiian swing quartet The Moonlighters, and cut her teeth on the baritone ukulele in that band. More recently Daria has been playing and singing with The Jack Grace Band and Sasha Dobson. In 2007, she formed the Pre-War Ponies to put to use her growing collection of sheet music and repertoire of not-quite hits from the 20's, 30's and 40's.
Those of you who were at Livestock Music Festival last year remember Daria and her Pre-War Ponies. They kicked off the barn set with a sultry, swinging set, and we are thrilled to have them return!
Tickets are $25 each.
Pot luck dinner at 6:30pm. Please bring a dish to pass and BYOB. Daria Grace and the Pre-War Ponies will take the stage at 8pm.
